Please join us for a presentation by James Rogers, Winged Foot’s architect and expert of Wendehack architecture.
Clifford Charles Wendehack was an American architect celebrated for the design of clubhouses. Wendehack was most active during the 1920s. Most notably, he designed the clubhouses at Winged Foot, Bethpage, Norwood, Ridgewood among many others.
James Rogers holds a Bachelor of Arts from Yale University and a Master of Architecture degree from Columbia University. He is a frequent speaker at educational conferences and served for many years as a trustee of Philips Exeter Academy, most recently as president. He was recently in charge of Phase II of the Master facilities plan and is currently working on Phase III. Rogers, an expert on Wendehack architecture will discuss and explain Wendehacks design.
